running to moab

Delicate Arch

I did not bring a camera to run the Canyonlands Half Marathon and if there is a run to bring a camera on, this is it. 11 miles alongside the Colorado river with Navajo sandstone walls on either side, Arches National Park on one side and the famed Slickrock Trail on the other. After sporadic training through some snowy winter months I am content with a 2:00 time. Now I need a little point and shoot.

Alex Cohn, Ashley Franscell and Sara Davidson in Moab after the run.

I look much more relieved with the race over than when I was running it.
