ice as a recreational activity
Garrett Peabody and Travis Tinsey were my first official visitors to Concord. They came from Michigan for some ice climbing, and the New Years Eve cold snap provided. They did Black Dike on Cannon while I worked but were kind enough to let me tag along on a route in Crawford Notch, on the south face of Mt. Willard.
I need a lot of practice to keep up with them.

hot stuff. i love the third shot...
is that more rock ripping out of the ground? probably some curvy roads there too. Looks way more promising than I-80. Its getting bad here, a lot of the smaller businesses downtown are closing up. A few places in the mall are closing and those bumper stickers that say "will the last one out of Michigan please turn out the light" are starting to show up again.
