Climbing down to climb up

Hiked from the Mount Washington Auto Road down the Huntington Ravine trail to the base of the Pinnacle Buttress route on the ravine's East ridge (second from left). At least 12 people climbed the route on Sunday, so there was always company.












Yes, hiking down the Class 3 trail was scarier than climbing the 5.7 route.
